Meizu celebrated its 17th-anniversary last week and the company announced that it would launch its flagship Meizu 17 in April. We know that the Snapdragon 865 and 5G compatibility are available, but it also appears to support some very fast charging like never before.
This was disclosed after a Meizu GaN charger had leaked in the Weibo network. This revealed that a brick supports 65W fast charging, and has one USB-A port and 1 USB-C Port operating at the same time.
Chongdiantou.com, the Chinese website which reports on the latest information in the lifting industry, was able to leak the charger. The report showed that the power brick is real because it suits all other Meizu loaders like the graved grey logo on a white brick. A 55W Super mCharge charging a 3,000 mah battery in 20 minutes was demonstrated at the Meizu 2017 MWC.
The leaked charger can be used for all kinds of devices, and not only smartphones. Meizu is the fourth company that will present a 65W GaN gadget after Oppo, Xiaomi and Nubia.
